Resort Hoppin' with Wigd and Shocker! Contests!

Give Harper some crayons! :dance3:
No, no, and no! She did get a hold of some vasoline the other day and did a number on her head and neck!
Can you do this on some show on HGTV so we can all watch?
Pleeeeez? :yay:
If we did that they would have to make it a silent film. Marc has some very bad comments when things don't go his way. He put up a new ceiling fan in Baylor's room and he was hollering something awful!
Ahh shopping at the monorail resorts :cloud9: Something I plan on doing VERY soon. Any recommendations on Basin products?

Have you been to the GF spa? I'm thinking of taking a break from my family one afternoon for a massage.
Megan loves her salt scrub! I have some but haven't tried it out yet...
I really like the soaps especially the Mickey heads...
Right now I'm loving the sunbutter.
Another tip with the bath bombs....
Take a hammer and bust them!
Use a little at a time...

I haven't been to the spa, You will have to check that out and report back to me!
Wigd -
Fun update. So with any luck I might get to see someone parasailing from my lake view room. That is very cool. And I completely forgot that the GF had a Basin. How easy will it be for me to just hope right over there. I love it. I am definitely resort hopping this September.
Yes, do the loop! It's so nice to hop on and off the monorail! There isn't a better way to spend a hot or rainy day!
That Basin is small but very nice!

Thanks for the monorail shopping tour. I love the shops of the Poly and GF. DH and I have eaten at the GF Cafe several times before going to MK at night and have never received a bad meal. The other thing I like about visiting the GF is their is always a chance of seeing a Bridal party taking pictures or walking across the grounds or lobby. I also enjoying visiting Basin.

One of my favorite activities at BLT was watching the boats coming and going and the para-sailing.

fun resort pics! Basin is dangerous to be sure...I just wish the soaps lasted longer, I have to regulate them to powder room hand soap or they are just GONE too fast for the price!

I might have to swing by the one at the GF.

I've been, for a pedi. I'd go back but would do a spa treatment instead. Depends on what you want, I had an amazing deep tissue massage at WL.....might have to figure out how to sneak that in this trip.

What a fun way to spend a morning....shopping around the monorail!

Not sure you answered... tell me about the Dr. Spot stuff. You stocked up, and so did a lady I was in Basin with...

Thanks for taking the time out from all your home and school work to update! :flower3: I loved it. I would love to shop the monorail route someday. I am kicking myself that I have been to GF a few times and not gone in the Basin store!

Love the blue & green shirt you're wearing! So pretty!!!

So what did you think about the GF burger? Lobster seems like an unusual topping but I've heard people rave about it. That salad looks pretty good too.

Will you be sharing some remodel pictures? Pretty please?

I made my trip to the Basin store at the GF this trip! WOW!!! Smells so fabulous in there! I got body butter and soap for myself, in a scent that reminded me of Disney!!! Pink Sugar!!! Cotton Candy... :cloud9: I have lots of GF pics, but that is my final night of the trip, so you'll have to wait for a few more posts to see mine!

YAY on the update, BOOOOO on the work, but what a reward a new face to your bathroom and kitchen! I love that! I am patiently waiting for the contracter to start on my back yard -- the heat has pushed back a few projects!

WigD I LOVE that stone hidden mickey in the Poly floor!!! SO neat!!!!

I have not spent enough time there, want to go back to the Poly... :goodvibes

That lunch looks great!

Thanks for sharing!!!! :goodvibes

It really was a relaxing way to spend the morning!
Here's what Basin has to say about Dr. Spot...
Dr. Spot is our own special soap to get rid of those tough spots on clothes and other laundry. We have had great success getting out blood, chocolate, oil, grease, spaghetti sauce, baby formula and other hard to get rid of stains.

Wet area to be cleaned, rub Dr. Spot directly on stain, rub and wash as usual.

WARNING: Try on hidden area first to test colorfastness. It can cause certain fabrics/dyes to discolor.

Each girl now has a bar to carry in her diaper bag.
In October I'll pick up another for myself.:goodvibes

So are you saying we can expect to see you around Memorial Day and then on through say June 3rd for a few days?
It just seems that we have left this little remodel job to the end of the summer and Marc is working afternoons one more week at his school.
With that and my mess at school we have our hands full!

I wish you were closer so we could help you on weekends!

Hi Danielle!
I'm so happy you are enjoying your headbands, rings and silly bandz! They are fun aren't they?
You are such a sweet girl to write us that note!
Your friend,
Mrs. Anita

I was more than happy to take a break from the housework this morning to do that update!
Do you know that I got another compliment on my blouse?
From Tiana and Naveen! They were heading in for the parade and they stopped to talk to me. The said they loved my outfit and the colors in my shirt reminded them of the mardi gras!
I was on :cloud9:!
I wish Marc had been able to get his camera out fast enough for a picture!

Hmmm, the burger, I ate it in stages.
The lobster first, then the beef.
I only ate about half of that.
I wanted desert.
Yes, I will be happy to share some remodel pics!

I really was hoping to get started on the kitchen this weekend but with the plumbing issues it was a no go.
So a few hours in the classroom happened this afternoon.
I know some work got done, but to walk in and look you can't tell that I was even there...

Isn't the GF Basin a nice store?

Parasailing looks so fun! I want to do it on Castaway Cay on our next cruise! :thumbsup2 So glad you enjoyed your morning of shopping and your lunch at GF. I second the request for remodeling pics!

I love Sunday afternoon updates!!!

What a great way to spend the day shopping around the monorail resorts! Fun, fun, fun!

Boo to getting caught in the rain. I can sympathize only too well!

I enjoyed the shopping update!:thumbsup2

Can you remind me of the dates for Christmas 2011? Are they set in stone yet?
Someone may have mentioned to her husband that there was a possibility of a big DIS meet for Christmas of next year. :rolleyes1
Someone's husband may have said, "What's a DIS meet?":rotfl2:

I think that shopping loop is really fun when you aren't pushing the parks!
As soon as we have something officially finished I'll take a pic!

Nothing is set in stone.
Some have said that they want to be home for Christmas so they are planning to go before the holiday as soon as they get out on break. The crowds aren't so bad then. I'm sure we will head down as soon as we can. We will also stay as long as we can but that won't be much past the 27th or 28th. Just depends on when we get out for our break and how long it is.

I haven't been to the spa, You will have to check that out and report back to me!

I'm going to have to pick up some things at Basin. Hmmm, might get some Christmas gifts while I'm there.

Oh thanks for the bath bomb tip. I think I'll have to use one of those after a long day at the parks.

I'm debating trying the spa at the GF, the salon at the CR, or the Mandara Spa at the Swan & Dolphin. Leaning towards Mandara. I can head there when we switch to BWV.

We did that with our bath bomb!! I had to share it with the girls! Next time I'm buying more!

I mentioned to DH about your tour of the monorail resorts and he thought it would be fun! Oh yeah!

That's right, it was you Sheree! I have passed that tip on so many times! Genius, I tell you!:goodvibes

I love to watch parasailing from afar but I doubt I could ever do it. I'm too terrified of heights!

Grand Floridian Cafe looks really good! It's on my list of places to eat at..it seems like a restaurant that's under the radar at WDW which is always a good thing :)
