We hope to get 5 at Beach Club, cruise 4 nights, 5 at Vero, go home.
We need to get busy and book it or we'll be out of luck I'm afraid.
Especially for the Vero. We have to wait until 7 months out to book Beach Club because I have to use Kidani points.

Oh great! But your Vero won't coincide with our Vero (hopefully that is what we will get)... BOO.... See!!?? You have to set up an additional trip!! BUT I am not cancelling out Memorial day...

That's what I get for scrolling through too fast!!! After this last trip, I want our next one to be in much cooler weather so I guess it is a good thing we are aiming for December 2011. Oh, and Charles really liked the Beach Club when we walked through it.

NO, that would NOT be my DH!!!! I would not have NEARLY as much luck as Wigd might/will...

You should look into renting points and staying in a villa for the Christmas trip.

Taking a little break from the work around the house and doing a short update.

We woke up to another cloudy, ready to rain day...
Oh well, it was a Disney day and the 4th of July!


Marc looked out the balcony and spied someone doing some para-sailing...

Not for me, but I know this is something LL wants to do!

My plan for the morning was to take advantage of the monorail and shop those resorts!

Yes I said shop!!

Since I was in charge of facebooking Marc had the camera. The pics aren't shopping but of the resorts.

As we headed out MeMom and her crew were headed into the Contemporary by monorail and I was hoping that we would see them but we missed them by just a couple of minutes...
Off we went,
our first stop was the Poly.

Ok, here's a rant....
Smoker standing way across from the smoking area.
Right in front of the door.
Actually a poor placement for a smoking area.

Better topic, who doesn't love this?

I don't think a parted with a single dollar at the Poly.
Really thought I would get something resort specific but nothing seemed to call my name.
Oh well.

Next stop, the Grand Floridian!

Look, we found some of MeMom's flowers!

Yep, that was me!

This ferris wheel is just awesome!

We shopped around, found one of the shirts Marc had been hunting, I did part with a few dollars at Basin, got most of the gifts that I took home there. We had the nicest girl helping us!
Then it was time for our lunch at the Grand Flo Cafe.

Marc had the Caesar Salad with chicken breast - $12.99
Let's just say he cleaned his plate!

For me, the Grand Floridian Burger - Angus chuck burger, lobster, asparagus, and Horseradish-chive hollandaise. served with tomato salad - $17.99

For desert we had the Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse Cake - Topped with more chocolate - $3.29

I guess we gobbled it up w/o a picture!

It wasn't raining when we left the Grand so we decided to stop off at the Magic Kingdom and try to find a suitable 4th of July t-shirt for yours truly.
Why in the world did I think that just because it wasn't raining at the time I could get in and out of the Magic Kingdom without a bit of rain gear on a day with such heavy skies is beyond me. When we got back to the Christmas shop it began to pour. The skies opened up kind of pouring....
So here we are, with ALL kinds of rain stuff over at BLT since we were going to stay on the monorail this morning....
In a monsoon.

Hot here, too. The AC was out at church, and it was bad. Several people ended up leaving early - it was just too much. Made me think of what African missionaries (one spoke in our class this morning) go through all the time!

I keep thinking how I need to go to the school this week and move all my stuff to my new room. I think I may make Chelsea and Connor help me. They've got to be good for something.

I guess I have to face my classroom this week, too. Not thrilled about that, but glad to have a job.

I can never see enough Polynesian pictures. I did get a glass vase for my sand that says Polynesian Resort on it. It's in my bedroom, and it makes me smile to see it. It's bigger than what I wanted, but it's the only thing they had. I'll just have to get another baggie full of sand in October.

Remodel project is practically done in the hall bathroom. We got the floor tiled last year, the walls stripped, textured and painted. New shower curtain rod, curtain, bath mat and towels. New light fixture and switches plus new pulls on the cabinets and drawers.
It looks nice.
Just need to figure out what I'm going to do for wall art.
Don't think I'll make it outside today. Have 2 pool days next week.
Really need to get to school and up to visit my mom this afternoon.

Counter top transformation. Will look like granite.

Waiting on a plumber, ran into a problem with the water under the sink or this would be well under way....

Fun update. So with any luck I might get to see someone parasailing from my lake view room. That is very cool. And I completely forgot that the GF had a Basin. How easy will it be for me to just hope right over there. I love it. I am definitely resort hopping this September.
