CONGRATS ON THE CHRISTMAS TRIP! :santa:

I am hoping to go for Christmas/New Years 2011. It will my birthday gift to myself for turning 40 .

If I can swing a spring cruise trip and the Christmas trip I will be a very happy girl! :goodvibes

Okay - so I don't have to go searching through the boards, can you tell me where the MSEP starts and ends and about how long it lasts??

I'm trying to figure out 1) where to watch it (thinking I might try Frontierland) and 2) if they run two parades, and I skip the first one to go on rides, can I still get a spot in the hub for the fireworks? They are doing a parade at 9, then fireworks at 10, then a second MSEP at 11.

Any thoughts, advice?? TIA.

I'm not Anita but I thought I'd offer up my observations from when we were there. MSEP takes the same route as Spectro so down Main Street and over into Frontierland. We were on the corner there by the Liberty Bell and had the BEST view of the parade. We saw the parade at 9.
However, when we made our way towards the castle for fireworks we did not get a good spot at all. Those fireworks are spectacular and, in my opinion, you need to be right in front of the castle to get the full effect. We were off to the left and it just wasn't the same as when we saw them again from a better spot.
Hope that helps a little. Maybe someone else has an oh so magical spot!

Your Christmas trip sounds fabulous! I know how the split holidays go, it's hard and I can absolutely see where being at Disney would make it easier!

Thanks, that does help. I have a lot to ponder.

It was so much fun showing off my Taterhead Toys!
I won't say a word to Lexi about Ebay....
I hope you can make it Christmas, 2011. We should have a great big ole DISfest!

I just read Stacy's post and I agree, I really like watching the parade from Frontierland. Closer to the ending point. If you can grab a sitting spot over near the shooting gallery I'd go for it for the 11:00 parade time.
So get your fireworks spot in front of the castle first. I'm a middle person too!

I'm with you Stacy, I like my fireworks in the middle.
The parade is good by the liberty bell, also in Sleepy Hollow, but I really like farther down closer to Splash Mtn.
If the girls can do it, go for the later time. It wasn't crowded for us at all!

I think so too, Disney keeps your mind occupied! It's also a very happy place!:goodvibes

I'm in... finally! Page 21 and I missed a contest :( That is what I get for going on vacation. :)

I've only gotten about half way thru, but I wanted to get my guess in... my first guess was already taken at 10,124, so I will go with 10,125.

Love the souvie pictures! You found some great deals! Love the shirts, the mickey soap, that peace mickey outfit for Harper is adorable, of course the cute mine, mine, mine bib for baby no-name. :) Also, Shocker did a great job on your gift. Love your Minnie!

I'm surprised you didn't get a cupcake or a decorated table at The Plaza. I'm trying to remember if Chris got anything there in December. I know our table was decorated, but I don't remember anything else. Granted he got dessert with his meal since we were on the dining plan anyways. I think that may have been the only place he didn't get something.

Great view from your patio at BLT! Can't wait to see your Potato Head parts! We packed a box in December. The kids had a blast with it! The pieces are so cute! Hopefully, I'll get there tomorrow!

As a girl who LOVES to shop, there's no such thing as shopping too much.

Well unless your waiting on a job to call you and you shouldn't be spending the last of your money.

If everything goes well and I'm still here in Oct/Dec I look forward to seeing you again.

Im in albeit a little late.... you have to give me a beak for being so late i have been planning my disney wedding!!

My math isn't very good, but I think I may be in the wrong spot. ;)

You are right! It's past noon.
He's at work and won't get off until 3:00.
(working summer prime time 11:00-3:00)
The good news is...
There is a winner!
The bad news is....
They've blocked the DIS at school! :headache:
He can't post the winner until he gets home!
