My DH & I always go to WDW every year, but this year is extra special because we are bringing the baby (11 months old) for a week, and then to a 4 day cruise on the Wonder!

That being said, I want to have a basket, or some other type of "surprise" waiting for my DH and our Princess. I've checked on Internet for various suggestions (Pixie Gifts, Gifts of a Lifetime, WDW Florist) and I'm not having too much luck. I would love some suggestions about what kind of surprise to send, as well as reputable places to order from in WDW/Orlando area. Here is some info:

1. DH is 29, LOVES chocolate, doesn't drink or smoke, likes candy and snacks - really fun guy!

2. DD will be 11 months old, only eats baby food, milk, baby Cheerios (so any food items would be for my DH), loves Bear in the Big Blue House, Pooh Bear - her nickname is Piglet!

I am Canadian so since I have to factor in an exchange rate, I'm not sure of what a reasonable budget is. Any suggestions that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Tiger

P.S. Only 10 more days to go!

I have personally used Pixie Gifts/Beth several times and they are just amazing. They work with you to come up with the right combination of gifts. They have always been able to give me so many suggestions I would never have thought of on my own. I don't think you would be disappointed!

Thanks - I did check out their website but it's very basic so it doesn't give much info. I guess I could try and call later today when the baby is asleep, but to be honest I'm a little leary of using them based on what their website looks like.

If you don't mind can you give me some specifics:

1. Content of basket
2. Price of $75.00 seems very high - do they baskets for less?
3. Delivery charges

Thanks, Tiger

I had a bad experience with Pixie Gifts! I never got a reply from the info form on e-mail, so I called and was told making my basket would be no problem at all!! I re-sent all the info, and still, never heard from then again. I sent several e-mails and called 3 times...and Nothing!!!

I ended up using Giftsofalifetime.com (Jane), and was very pleased!! They had some items specifically listed on the site, but since I wanted something different, I did all of our ordering over the phone.

She can really put in anything you want!! I just did one for my 3 kids that included the autograph books/pens, Mickey Ears, Mickey crackers, a book, and stuffed animals for all the kids.

Browse their website to get ideas for things you'd like to include. I think they had various snacks items like Mickey pretzels, cookies, crackers. Maybe she could even get a small box of Cheerios for the baby:-). How about a Pooh stuffed animal and book for the baby??

I highly recommend Jane. I'm sure she could help you with more ideas and can discuss further details with you.

Have fun!!
