DH and I are taking the kids in Feb. and staying at Poly. My parents are going to meet us for three nights and are looking for a place to stay on property. They would like a value or mod resort. We are going to do Epcot and AK while they are there. They will have a car with them so they can use it or the WDW transport. Do any of you veterans have recommendations for a resort convenient to Poly, AK & Epcot?

PO french quarter. It is close to Epcot not far from Polyn.

All Star (any of them) is close to AK and Epcot - kinda of. but it is not that close to the MK.

My parents really liked the POFQ. They thought it was quaint and easy to get around. The resort itself is quite compact and they liked the food court for early morning coffee. My vote would be for it.

Coronado Springs. It's beautiful and quiet, especially at night, not a lot of kids, has a shuttle service so you don't have to walk everywhere, four bus stops (as opposed to only one at the Value resorts) and, best of all, a large spa (hot tub) with a beautiful view of the main pool. My parents really liked this place!

My preference - and I am a GP - is the POR. I think it is just beautiful and compares with the deluxes in terms of landscaping. Boatwrights is a great restaurant and you have the food court.

But I would encourage them to think about WL! Close to the POLY with great access to EPCOT. Less than the Poly, BC, GF or BWI...

Excellent information. I just called my Dad with the suggestions from the posters and he was very glad to have it! Hopefully, he will book this week.
