Resort Fees

Hi there!

We are new DVC owners and will be checking into AKV this Saturday.
Will there be any fees upon check-out? We own another timeshare and always have to pay a daily resort fee while staying on points.

No, you won't have a bill at checkout unless you charge something to your room.

Yes, so be aware that at DVC, unless you charge something to your room, you won't get any hangtag on the last morning. We never charge to our room, and I remember on our first DVC stay, I kept waiting for the hangtag thing and finally, about 9:30 am I called the front desk to tell them they'd forgotten to deliver it. That's when I found out about a zero balance and no bill.

just FYI: if you are able to use your other timeshare to trade for DVC through RCI, i believe you would owe DVC a $95 fee at check-in.
