Resort Exclusive Pins?

Ok, I am VERY into my pin collecting, my question is this. Are there pins sold only in resorts? I have noticed that they release a villain pin every month, but I have NO IDEA where to get them, and I <3 Disney villains. So where do I get these? Which resorts? What other kinds of pins do they do?

The villain shop in the Studios has villain pins. However I don't recall there being anything different that cannot be bought elsewhere.
The best bet are the main pin buying areas, such as the hat in the Studios, DTD Pin Traders, Pin Central in Epcot and the Main St watch store in MK.
However there are pin selling areas property wide, even at all the resorts.
The biggest selections seem to be in the main pin stations.
I have seen specialty resort pins at each resort, from rack to LE holiday pins.

I believe the villain series pin you are referring to is released only in California.
I don't know of any villian series being done right now in FL.

Go to pinpics.com and search villains or the name of one. You'll see tons of them. I collect Maleficent and Chernabog. I was there last week and the still had the Chernabog monorail for sale at Pin Central in EPCOT.

They STILL had some of the previous monorail pins available? Wow??!! We're going down in a few weeks. Are there any others that you recall still being available? I've been able to have someone pick me up the Figment & Pirates ones.

Every year before Christmas each WDW Resort Hotel comes out with a holiday pin and specific to that location and it's only sold at the Resorts store or pin cart.

Those sell out FAST! We tried to get the AKL pin last December and there weren't any left.

It depends on the type of design they use. Until last years set was released the ones that came out the past few years never sold out and were very easy to get.
