OK, so we're about the head to WDW (yeah!). We booked two concierge rooms at the Yacht, and I called to make sure they are connecting. The good news is that they are, but the bad news is that they are standard view. Now, the lagoon view is REALLY important to us. As I spoke with various cast members about this, I learned that there was some sort of mistake, and there are literally no lagoon view concierge rooms available for part of our stay. They will move us during our stay, and refund the difference between lagoon and standard view for the nights we have standard view (a major pain!), but I must say that I am really disappointed.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? We talk alot on these boards about upgrades, but not "downgrades," and I'm just wondering how prevalent they are.
