resort discounts during the holiday season??

Hi everyone

is it possible to get a hotel discount at one of the disney resorts, or is wishful thinking on my part??

My husband and I want to be at disney for the New years eve celebrations, and plan to leave 2 days after christmas.

If discounts are impossible, then we will probably have to stay off-site or at a downtown disney hotel.

Here is what I found out with our trip this year. The codes they put out were for arrivals up to 12/25. If you came in later than that you paid full holiday prices. I don't believe the other discounts apply then either.

We changed our reservation to be there over xmas instead of New Years because of this. Saved a bundle too.
