resort discount ?

I was set on booking the stay 4 play free promotion for late June. I did the math, and joining AAA plus buying 2 tickets would be more than the AAA discount. I checked mousesavers.com, and saw information about Fan Club and Entertainment discounts. I thought Universal did not offer these anymore?? Has anyone gotten either discount lately? Mousesavers also mentioned that Expedia has 25% discounts on Universal resorts. Obviously, it's too early to get the rate now, but are they avaiable as you get closer to the date? I can't decide whether I should get the ticket special now and hope for a discounted room.

I think Mousesavers should be updated on that info you posted. I havent heard anyone using a FAN or Entertainment rate in a long while. APH ratea and AAA rates usually are the best deals. Occasionally you will find a package if you need to also purchase tickets that works out well. But mostly room only and a promotion on the passes is cheapest.

Keep a lookout, June special rates are not out yet. You can also book a room now and change it to a promotion that comes out after. The ticket special thats around now is a good one.
