I need suggestions as to where in the WORLD should I book our LAST meal in WDW? My husband decided we should book a nice dinner on our last full day. We have a baby & we would like something special for our last night. We prefer non buffet but not too stuffy @ a Resort, hopefully.[not sure what park we'll want to do & don't get hopper]The hubby likes meat & seafood. No Italian as we eat that @ home a lot. My wants are atmosphere & a moderate price range. My husband told me to ask the people on the dis, b/c I'm driving him crazy!! lol!! So, any ideas???:goodvibes:goodvibes

That is a great consideration! :goodvibesI have been there before & I felt the service & food was excellent!! It was a very peaceful place to dine. Very enjoyable. Only problem is, my mom was talking about how much she enjoyed it. I'd feel bad going w/out her. This sounds like a great option.

I'm not sure where you will be coming from but my suggestions would be either Yachtsman Steakhouse or Narcoossees.

I would say yachtsman but that would definitely pull you outta the moderate price range.
And i find the captain's grille quality is great.

I recommend going and then taking mom for lunch there one day.
The fish and chips at lunch is GREAT!

i don't think Ohana fits the quiet relaxing adult evening description as well as some other options.
As fun as it is..the parades of kids..not so great.

The other thing that i REALLY enjoy doing though is the sushi bar at Kona. No reservation needed..it's walk up first come first serve. You can order sushi or off the kona menu (only think i like from kona is the strawberry daquiries (non alcoholic), the sticky wings, and the pork chop) but the sushi is great and i think better than California Grill ...especially if Andres is there making it.
you have to ask for the hawaiin welcome bread if you sit at the sushi bar though..it's still complimentary.
But it's a really fun option...get there at the start of dinner time and you can sit right up at the chefs table and have a wonderful time.
go down to the beach after and watch the electrical water pageant out on the water at 9pm and wishes fireworks...even share a dole whip from captain cookes out on the beach.
and mom can still go to captain's grille!

We like Kona Cafe at the Poly, but it can get noisy. Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL is not quiet but it can definitely be a raucous fun experience for your last night. Sanaa at Kidani has great food, is subdued and offers great views of the animals.

Definitely California Grill!!!

Birdseye view of the MK+signature restaurant that is not TOO quiet to worry about going to with your baby+great fish/meat dishes= winner!

After some deliberation between going to Cali Grill vs Citricos our last night, we decided to go with the CG and can't wait! :yay:

I say Captain's Grille... with the Grand Floridian Cafe being a close second!! Both are delicious, quiet, nice meals.

Never tried the grill. How would you compare that with the YSH?

I'd say the Yachtsman Steakhouse. After dinner you can take a nice relaxing and romantic walk around the boardwalk.

Enjoy! :goodvibes

and a great atmosphere give Olivia's at Old Key West a try. If it's warm out you can sit outdoors and enjoy a nice view. It doesn't hurt the that the food is great!
