Resort confirmation not received

I made our room-only October reservations on March 30th and I have not received a confirmation yet. I called Disney today to requested one. I spoke to "Jermaine" - boy, was he a real ball of fire.

We made room only reservations at the beginning of March and never got a confirmation. I called reservations and was told we were in the system. The person I spoke with told me for some reason they don't seem to send out confirmations on room only reservations and since I paid my deposit when I made the reservation, I probably wouldn't get one. She said she would request a written confirmation. Still didn't receive one, so when I made dinner reservations (with the same cast member, by the way!) she was going to request an itinerary - never got it either. To reassure myself, I went to disney.com and emailed that I wanted something in writing. They did respond to my email with my info. Just a week ago, I received the 'official' confirmation in the mail. Go figure.

That's not true, because I've always made room only reservations, and I've always received a confirmation in the mail (up until this time when I had to beg for one), but never had a problem in the past. In fact, everytime I've made a change, even just the slightest, to request a top floor room, they've still sent me another confirmation.

P.S. Not meaning she didn't tell you that - just meant what the CM said wasn't true. Just wanted to clarify.

I booked Poly LVC through WDTC on 4/1 and got a confirmation on 4/12 from WDTC.

It was the DV 7/4 pakage and it even stated the exact room I requested. It was only 2 pieces of paper on WDTC letterhead.

So far, that's all I have received. This is for a Sept trip that is paid in full.

We also booked the Polynesian LVC with the 7/4 DV deal for Sept. 7th - 14th. Just curious when you are going and what room you requested? I requested non smoking 3rd floor (we have never stayed on anything but the 1st floor).

I booked on 3/19 and received no confirmation. Called again a week ago - still no confirmation. I really want that piece of paper in my hand. I'm not sure if the CM I spoke to even put down my request since he tried to tell me there was no 3rd floor concierge at the Polynesian.

Wow...you're doing a tues to tues?

Were going the 18th to 25th.

Requested room 3501...but priority is NS 3rd, then 1st.

Never been to the Poly before. You can give me the scoop when you get back!
