Resort Christmas Decorations

So I know that it varies year-to-year and there isn't any way to know for sure what date the decorations will be up at the resorts (especially the gingerbread decorations at GF, BC, BW)...

But can someone help me out with what day these have historically gone up? Trying to plan for a November visit and wondering whether to schedule time for visiting those resorts specifically to see the gingerbread decorations.

From what I can Google, the GF gingerbread house went up sooner than that - on November 15th, 2017, which would have been the Tuesday the week before Thanksgiving (the 23rd). I know I'm probably overthinking the whole thing

You are correct that it varies from year to year because the resorts participate in a lottery that determines the order in which they are going to be decorated. The lottery results aren't announced so there's no way of knowing when each one will be decorated, but they are all completed by Thanksgiving.

While each resort is usually decorated overnight, the gingerbread house at the GF will take longer. You will be able to watch its progress during the early part of November and typically it is complete and open for business around mid month.

We usually go in mid November and have seen the GF Gingerbread House open around the 15th but other years it was later . Same thing with the decorations at POFQ which is where we stay.

Disney is all up and decorated by Veterans Day in November- have fun

We were there November 9-16 last year and we were able to see the gingerbread house at GF, Epcot was decorated towards the end of our trip and when we woke up on the 16th to leave, the Boardwalk was completely decorated! It was so awesome to go to sleep at midnight and wake up at 5 am to see everything has changed!
