My family of 4 two children 12 & 14 year old girls will be going to Disney World this summer. We will stay at one of the Disney resorts. The Boardwalk end looks especially fun and centrally located with the little knowledge I have - this is my vote. My husband is thinking about the money that could be saved ($900) if we stay at the Coronado. Do you think the Beachwalk Inn is worth the extra money? Thank you for any advise you can give me. By the way this will be our families only trip to Disney World although we go to Disneyland every couple of years.

The Boardwalk is a great resort. Your girls might like the pool at the Beach Club better though. It's great too. You can walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios or take the boat. Buses run to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
Coronado is wonderful too and has a great pool. You cannot walk to any of the resorts from that resort but the bus transportation to all of the parks is very efficient.
Any of them are good but none of them are worth a money argument with your husband.

I prefer Beach Club too over Boardwalk Inn. Best pool on property. It this is your only trip to WDW, then go for it.
However if husband is looking for cheaper options, WL is nice and very close to MK. Boat ride over. But rooms are smaller too.

If you are considering a Moderate resort, Port Orleans Riverside is our fav Moderate. We love the mansion section. It has a lot to offer with beautiful grounds, newly refirbed rooms with 2 queens, boat to DTD, evening entertainment in the lounge, Horse & Carriage rides and a marina.
