Definitely not. They make bank selling MBs and cards on request has shown no signs of going away, Disney has not announced it’s going away and it’s been policy for over a couple years.

Update:

I have changed the reservation to the first 3 nights at All Star Sports, and the last 4 nights at the Swan. My sister has an AP discount at the Swan so this stay is a bit cheaper than the whole time at Coronado Springs. My Sports stay was booked with a bounceback, so my choice of value resorts was limited. A mermaid room at AoA is available, but it would be another $100 a night, and the walk to the skyliner (for my sister) would be fairly long. Though that skyliner is tempting.....

One piece of advice, don’t stay in the Fort Wilderness cabins with a scooter.

First of all, there is no where to park the scooter out of the elements at one of the regular cabins with stairs. I booked a handicap accessible cabin with a ramp because of that so I can charge my scooter inside.

Secondly, you have to take 2 buses (or a bus and a boat) to get anywhere. So, you have to go through the pain of loading and unloading twice each way.

Another update With the new discounts released we are now staying 3 nights Pop Preferred, 4 nights Swan. I would have been good with the whole stay at Pop, but my sister is ok with values but not a massive fan. This is what we did last year, and I'm very happy with our new arrangement.
