Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

Party! I was thinking of renting one at GF since the entire family is now going. I thought it would be nice to have a central base and somewhere for everyone to just hang out in the shade with a fridge so no one (read: my dad) gets cranky in the heat.

Well I got one just 'cause... OK, I couldn't help it. It will be super crowded at the Poly pool, and I thought well, why not? In for a penny, in for a pound like Grandma used to say. :)

And this way I get to try it out to see if my kids would like it. :rolleyes1

Now if I could just decide if I want to do V&A or not....

Shhhh don't tell but I was gonna book it if they came or not. ;) lol

Can I just come on vacation with you?!

I'm getting so excited about it! :goodvibes It's been way too long since I have been to Disney World! (11 years :scared1:) Being able to stay at a beautiful resort and spending the time with my gramma will be just splendid! I remember my gramma and I did something similar to the tea party at the GF when she took me to the American Girl Place many years ago and I think it will be so much fun. Thank you so much for suggesting that! I would never have known about it if you hadn't said anything!

Now to wait for CR to be available on the 13th. :rotfl:

Edit: Do you think I will be too old for the tea party? I feel like I will be the oldest of the kids there, being 21 (when we will be there) n' all.

Never too old for a Princess Tea Party. It's your 21st Birthday, why not do it???:cheer2:

If I can coax my dad into watching the kids for a few hours I am totally booking the princess tea party for me and my mom!

Oh good! I was nervous. I'm glad I'm not I'm not the only person who is older than 12 who would love to do this. I'm not booking the Princess party because that's expensive, even if my gramma would want to pay for it, but I'm just doing the regular afternoon tea thing.

Sure! The rooms at the Poly are huge! But no horning in on V and A - they don't serve steak there. :teeth:

I can see you changing during pushes:rotfl::rotfl:

kaffinitoYAY for the Poly!!!!!!!:dance3:

Thank you! :goodvibes

The Tea party does sound like fun - but when a solo adult books it it's just creepy. I should have booked it a few years ago when my youngest DS wanted me too. :headache: Now I've missed my chance.

Now the adult tea - which I did do with youngest DS - costumes and all - was very lovely and very well done. :goodvibes

It's not creepy at all! Not if you are gonna have fun! :)

 I say you should just go at the end of September and join me for a princess tea party! :goodvibes

Besides which - it costs 250.00 and adults don't get the doll or the tiara. For 20.00 I could have cookies at the Tea Room and get to wear the hat to boot. :snooty:

:rotfl: If I can't get the doll or the tiara then I'm not doing the princess party. Aurora is my favorite princess and I would cry if I didn't get the doll. I will just have to get myself a tiara and be a princess all by myself. :snooty:

I want pictures of the tea hat! I must see the tea hat!

Ya know, if we ring DD she would get it and we could take it because what would a 6 month old know?!;)

:lmao: You're cracking me up! You know what happens when an overly pregnant lady laughs too much, don't you?!

Well I was kind of hoping for labor - the other function is just yucky. :scared:

Think of Queen Elizabeth with flowers and you have a good idea. When we went to the Tea - John wore knickers, high socks, and a cap like the kids wore back then. I had a dress, the hat, and a shawl. :)

But it would still only be one tiara and we need two of them. :headache:

 I think I might get one to wear on this solo trip. princess:

I have OCD!

:rotfl: OK - why are you OCD???

Tried to make a change today and upgrade to a WL Deluxe Room, but there was no availability with the military discount, but that BC Deluxe Room is available:scratchin
