Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

As a newbie to these boards, I was very relieved to see this thread and be able to prove to my husband that I really am NOT the only resort changer out there! I changed resorts 4 times for our upcoming trip - yikes!

I am also a resort changer now. We crunched the #'s and decided that saving $900 was a good decision. We usually do mods, but will be doing value. Just happy to be going!

Hey everybody! Well, here it is my 1000th post! I also purchased my tickets for our upcoming labor day trip woo hoo We are booked for free dining for 3 nights at POP, then 1 night at AKL! Keep your fingers crossed that nothing changes!!!! It's also 7-8-9 today too!!!!

Happy 1000 post!! I am guilty of being a resort changer. I find it's half the fun to think and re-think the decision. This upcoming trip (minus the kids) started at AKL, moved to WL and is now happily settled at Poly. Next year will be YC - at least that is the plan so far.

No changes here as of late...Sept still stands for a triple stay! BLT and Swan and Kidani..

However, still have this pin rolleyes1) and called and got POP for 49 a night in Dec if i can sneak away for a few days....DSalmost16 doesnt really want to go, DD12 already went, but dont want to take her out of school , so that leaves DD3...its pretty bad when u r driving on the expressway and she is looking for EPCOT(Spaceship Earth)

What's the magic cut off date for making changes to a package without penalty? 45 days out? That means I only have until the beginning of August to make changes! I hope the next special offer comes out soon
I wanna stay at the BLT sooooo bad!

Disneybride and singinglizzie.....Hi there. We sold our home and are currently waiting for news as to whether they accepted our offer on the new home in VA. (break dancin'). All of my focus is now on DISNEY!!!!! I NEED a VACATION very badly. At this point, I don't care if we sleep on the beach at FT. Wilderness, just get me to the mouse!

**4 night trip....pre Christmas...have a code...seasons change after first night...value to holiday...still getting a good deal....booked at POP....considering going to a Mod...minus the fridge rental at POP..abt a $40 cost extra per night...mom with possibly toddler and tween travelling..(2 L's? lol)

Should they stay at POP or go to the Mod?

I know there's a Pop Fridge swap, would they be willing to do something like that? I hardly ever use the fridge, so I don't consider it a huge plus.

Is the tween a girl or boy? If it's a girl and she takes forever to get ready, the extra sink at a Mod (sans CSR) would be a huge help!

But with just 3 people and those icky Holiday rates, I'd say Pop is good!

Would need the coffee maker and the fridge....I got involved once with a swap back in 07 at POP..had to cancel, gave notice and still got scolded...no thanks...lol

Ended booking CBR.. I like the tropical theme...and the new pool will appeal to my DD3
My code allowed me to save nearly $400...from rack rates..we will see...our trip is 5 mths away!
