Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

Yay! I finally called and changed to WL! Maybe that will be the last time!

Yeah you! I know you'll be happy there -you always are, right?

Now I am having buyer's remorse for my split with GF...lol...it is a good rate for there.....I do want to be in the MK area for part of our stay....see..this is how it begins...thinking/analying /strategizing too much with plans!! lol
But I know once I am there I will have that feeling..... Til DH sees the pics...or DD12 says.."Guess where we are" to him on the phone...... "But honey, I saved 58 DVC points!!!"

But, you did save the points, and you are saving money by being on the monorail line and not having to.... well, spend money on the knick knacks you might see while traveling? Maybe?

Okay, changed again.

Just downgraded the June trip from CSR to Pop Century. I've only stayed at a value once - for two days. It wasn't wonderful. I'm a little worried, but I really, really want this trip for me and my son. And since we are going to Beach Club just two months later.. ROFLMAO.

My husband is about ready to have a stroke over all the vacationing though, so I'm trying to buy down his blood pressure by saving a few hundred dollars on the trip. I really don't want his head to explode.

Think of the mess you'd have to clean up!

POP is ok. Have you stayed there before? It has a huge draw for me - the Goofy Pop Jets! Well, that and the tie-dyed cheesecake, and the store... Did I mention the arcade?

Switched to ASMu for June trip.

I've never looked into values before and I thought I wanted Pop, but then I started reading and convinced myself ASMu. I really need a different hobby.

Oh my gosh! I can't believe there is a thread about ME!!!!! I thought I was the only one who did all the resort changing. I posted somewhere the other day a funny story that happened to me last week.

I called to check the price of DDP on our ressie WELLLLLLLL the CSR kept reading to himself and apologized for the delay. I said is there a problem! He says no you just have so many changes and cancelations I have to find your current reservation! I about died and I appologized to him LOL Then I inquired about erasing them only to be told NOPE they are permanent. This is how they keep up with who is doing what he said.

So it is NICE to know I am NOT the only one out there

Welcome friend! But gee, I didn't realize Disney kept track of all the cancellations, but now come to think of it someone told me the same thing right before our trip, that they couldn't find our reservation, because there were several !

Well we switch again! Went from one week GF SL and one week BC standard room, switched to one week BC standard room and one week Poly LVC, switched to one week BC waterview room and one week Poly LVC, just switched (hopefully the last time) to two weeks BC deluxe room CL.

I'm exhausted just from typing it!

I was booked a split stay between POP and WL, them I switched it to all WL. Next I switched it to BLT and CSR. That is where I am at now but. . . I can't stay away from the resort boards and I am thinking of switching CSR, hmmm. . .LOL
BLT is set though, I can't wait.

I'm pretty sure you can call the regular CRO number to do that. I would make sure that you tell them that you booked on a bounceback.

I have a question. We booked with the free dining pin. Now that the book by date has ended for the pin can I still switch resorts? If it follows past years free dining should have a general code soon, so if that happens it will buy me more time LOL

Hmmm.. not sure abt that one..maybe ask this on the Codes/Rates thread?

You can always call CRO..however, there are times when depending on which CM you get, you may get different responses!!
