And did you set your alarm for 5 a.m.? I sooooo want BC and will consider it if I can get as good a discount as I have for SSR witht he 30% and free dining. If your DH is thinking YC/BC.....book it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (for me.... )

LOL DH is not a big BC/YC fan. We almost did book it the other night but SAB is in rehab, as are a few of the pools. Almost did BWI but all of BC/YC/BCV w/b sharing the BWI pool.

We're at WL unless Poly opens up! I will be calling to check regularly

Well, we just got back from our trip on the 20th....at the 45 day mark I buckled down and refused to change anymore! I stuck with my last choice although the urge was there to pick up the phone and dial.....I resisted the urge.......didn't want to pay the change fee you see.......but honestly, I wish I had. There was absolutely nothing really wrong with CR..nice rooms etc.....(didn't like the on site food options though) but I missed the Poly.....wished I had went with my gut feeling and made that final phone call! I have been sitting here looking at my past Poly pictures and think I need to plan another trip there........or did I want to check out the Beach Club this time! Hmmmm...I thought I was all set! I guess if I do stay at the BC sometime this year (I hope) then I will come home missing the Poly even more and get yet another disney trip out of it!!!!

I don't think you'll miss the Poly as much at the BC/YC since it's in the EPCOT location. I could see how you might miss Poly staying near MK on the Monorail. I could be just saying this because I want to stay at the BC this year.

How was your trip other than the Poly-nesia.....(Our new term for all Poly illnesses).

For instance, recently changed my mind abt how I was going to do parts of my F & W trip.....so found out I had a code...have already changed TODAY after I made the initial res TODAY!

First booked GF Sugar Loaf CL..then decided an Epcot resort would work better (F & W)..and have never stayed at (here it comes stepdisney) Beach Club....so I got an amazing rate there, for a Deluxe CL room!
I figured since this may be my only trip down there (cancelled Feb for our California trip this month) I am going to do it right
Of course DH thinks I am using DVC points for this trip....well, not the WHOLE trip! SShh

We got a 40% off pin So we're thinking of changing our free dining POFQ stay to deluxe. This is an adults only trip and we'll be there the opening weekend of F&W festival. Any suggestions?

It was an accident I kept messing with it....it seemed to have worked when I went back to change my ticker I had on the top....I am not even going to try and add my trip history!

** Any EPCOT resort..YC is great too, may not be as crazy with kids, DH and I stayed there and loved it! Also, it is so nice walking into WS via Intl Gateway Esp For F & W!!

So we just booked a standard room at BWI with DDP. We thought it would be a nice resort to try without the kids. (I really want to take the kids to YC/BC someday.) We would've booked without dining, but we were swithing from a bounceback package that had insurance and we would have lost $134 dollars since insurance in non refundable.

Oh, you will have such a great time there, we had a blast in the Epcot area when at BC and the Swan! We also want to try BWI, the new rooms look amazing !!!

That's great! We stayed BWV and enjoyed our stay..great for adults, too! Those rooms do look great! When we there for MNSSHP, friends were upgraded to CL at BWI!

I have a question, since there a only X number of room's available per code, if someone cancels a reservation, does it become available right away, or do you have to wait until the a.m to try and book it?

I don't see a response to your question, so I'll give it a try. I was told that certain categories revert back to inventory if they get cancelled. I thought the WDW was updated in the am, but I have found that sometimes "inventory" becomes available at "no set time". If X amount of rooms from that category are booked, then the code becomes unavailable. But if someone cancels, and that category hasn't "sold out" it could become available when the room is released back to inventory? Clear as Mud! Right!

I love changing my mind and changing resorts. Without the research and second guessing, I would never know it was a WDW trip.

My 7 day trip has now morphed into 10, and now I have to make cuts so DH doesn't freak out and the kids don't refuse to go. I told DS16 tonight that we might have to change resorts mid stay (twice) and he actually whimpered. I love planning vacations!

So I had an epiphany earlier.

Unless I bank my DVC points for this year, I will have to use them up before they expire. So that means that I would have to use them by, say, the end of December! Now the beauty of all of this is that DH DOESN'T KNOW YOU CAN BANK POINTS! And I am NOT going to tell him either! I am truly evil....
