Resort Bus Wait Times In My Disney Experience?

I read an article a few months ago stating that bus wait times, or the next arrival time of buses are coming to the MDE app. I Googled, didn't find much, but then I heard on a podcast that it was working.

Can anyone confirm or deny if this is going on? The buses are generally fine, but there is nothing worse (transportation wise) than being at the bus stop 60 minutes before rope drop, waiting 40 minutes for a bus, deciding to cab, then a bus pulls in as your cab is leaving.

As I recall, it was in a test phase late 2014 and not available to the general public. The idea being that adding it to the app would be a cost saving vs. installing displays at all of the bus stops. I have not seen any info since.
Think it would be a great idea if it came true!!

It would probably be more accurate if they had a "miles out" display, as traffic congestion and unforeseen circumstances could make a "minutes out" more frustrating to guests if a bus doesn't show up on time.

Even with the bus stop displays, the arrival times constantly change. Epcot bus arriving in 5 minutes. Then it changes to 10. Then it sticks at the same time for 5 minutes. Dont hold your breath on this going to MDE any time soon.

A more dynamic and quicker dispatching system would obviate the need for integrating this with DME, and would make even the signs at the resorts unnecessary, IMO.
