Resort Breakfast

Hi all,

We are Staying at the Port Orleans FQ.

How feasible is it to plan on having breakfast at Boma at the AKL the day we plan to tour the Animal Kingdom?

How bout the day we plan to tour MGM, not really seeing anywhere IN the park for a nice breakfast.


All suggestions welcome, the amount of knowledge shared here is amazing and oh so welcome.

are you driving a car? if you're using Disney transportation, eating at a different hotel than you are staying can be a lot of trouble, you're staying at
POFQ you'll need to take a bus to AK then another bus to AKL.

if you're driving it's not that much of a problem to get there.

as Ran had said with a car not a problem - without - you are talking 2 buses...

for MGM either walk or take a boat over to BC for Cape May Cafe - it is a character breakfast, or over to the Dolphin/Swan.

Would taking two buses be very time consuming? Is the Animal Kingdom close to the Animal Kingdom Lodge?

very close - it just depends upon on how lucky you are - some people come up and the bus is pulling in - 10 minutes at the most - other (like me) will miss the bus to the MK - so you are talking around 20 minutes then a 15 minute trip to AK - then the bus I wanted is pulling away - so another 20 minute wait then 10 minutes to get there - so if you have my luck it could easily be 60 minutes....

Ran and spiceycat answered your question, but I'd like to add htat the AK is the only park we try to get to first thing in the morning--no stopping for breakfast on the way for two reasons.

First, the animals are most active before the heat of the day sets in, so it's a realy good plan to get to the AK and take the safari first thing.

Next, the sticky buns at the Tusker House are yummy!

You could always opt for breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe in AK.
