I apologize now for needing to ask such basic ?'s 
that I should know the answers to, as many times as Ive been to WDW, but Ive only been onsite once anyway... I really appreciate the time you're taking to answer, and I promise that I will sit still and read your replies 
Can I use an AP that I havent validated yet to get a discount rate for a resort?
How far in advance can/ should I do this?
How much of a deposite will I have to make, and when will I have to pay off the reservation completely?
