Resonably Priced Tires??

I am about a month out on my end of lease term. I need to decide whether I'm keeping the car or giving it back. As of right now keeping it is going to be the better option financially, since I'm over on miles.
Where can I find good tires that are reasonably priced in the RI area?? Either way I need new ones, since mine are bald.

I live in NH, and have always had good luck with Tire Warehouse and Town Fair Tire. Any time I've bought tires, ever, one of those two has the cheapest prices. Both can be found throughout New England, including in Rhode Island.

We get our tires at Sam's Club.

I always get my tires at Town Fair Tire. But you might get a better deal at Sams, BJs or Costco if the one near you has the auto center attached.

If any other place is cheaper, call back Town Fair and they'll usually beat it by at least 5%.

Tirerack.com. We ordered our tires off there - we got them the next day. THey are out of DE. They were the cheapest around when I had my 2007 Saturn Outlook - that only took one type of tire and Saturn wanted over $300 a tire.

Hey fellow Rhode Islander. Best places for tires either Benny's or Town Fair Tire. Not sure where you're located, but they just opened a new Town Fair in Middletown. I also know that there is one in Dartmouth. Not sure about the other side of the state, but I'd guess there's probably one in the Warwick area.

First thing I did was go online to some of the major tire companies and narrowed down my choice to tires that were right for my mix of driving and would last a long time. I did not need any all-weather tires as there does not tend to be any snow South of Orlando, which is where I live.

I then sent a form letter to about ten stores as a "request for proposal". I asked for the out-the-door price for a set of four specific brand, model and size tires mounted, balanced and installed with new valve stems and road hazard warranty and all taxes and fees.

My Ford dealer had told me they would match or beat any legitimate local (within 50 miles) offer that was a real location and not an internet quote. I did take the quotes to the dealer and they did actually beat the lowest quote by a few dollars because they wanted to keep my business.

I was in the same boat you were in. When I went in for the last oil change before my lease was up, my mechanic mentioned that I needed new tires. I told him my lease was coming up, and how frustrated I was that I was going to have to put so much into a car that I was turning in. He told me that he could get me good "used" tires that would meet the requirements from the leasing company. For $150 I was able to get 3 tires that passed the test, and I had no problems with the leasing company! Better than the $450 I was going to have to pay out for the cheapest ones I could find to fit my car. Just a thought if you plan on turning in your car.
