Hi all
Looking to book here..great Florida rates..anyone stayed?
Is there construction going on? what is the best floor to stay on?
Any thoughts would be appreciated...has mostly positive reviews...a few negatives..cannot make us all happy! thanks

Hi there, ansd a warm welcome to thr Disboards! We have stayed at the RI Seaworld, cant recommend highly enough, beautiful pool lovely room, fab free breakfast and a great location. You can see fromj my sig where we have stayed, and RI comes second only to the Vistana Villages for us (and thats purely for the extra space reason!)

Hope this helps:yay:

Stayed there a couple of nights. I had a one bedroom suite with two queen beds and the pull out couch.

It is a typical Marriott brand, so you can expect good, clean rooms and pretty good service.

The room I had was good sized and had a small kitchen with full fridge.

I found nothing at all wrong with it, and it is in a decent location. Certainly close to Sea World but not a problem at all to get to other destinations like Universal, Disney and I-Drive.

Its a great hotel-stayed there a few times-i'm a FL resident. I've stayed in 3 floors-all are the same. Typical room has 2 double beds, little living area-fold out couch into bed-kitchenette-complete with everything from cups to silverware. Rooms-decent sized. Very quiet. Pool is not heated-as a floridiot now-i need a heated pool. Free full breakfast buffet spread-food is good-not great but gets the day started. Its a good choice for this area. They also offer a promotion-not sure if they still have it-we got it last January and stayed for my birthday in november...prepay $99.00 plus tax and get a 4 night stay-no blackout dates...you just have to commit yourself to a 90 minute timeshare tour of the Horizon propoerty across the street-it was well worth it...we were in and out in less than an hour-we booked the 7:30 am tour-we still had our whole day. hope this helps.

We stayed there for a week a couple of years ago. We loved that it was close to everything. We had a king room and a large balcony. It was an odd shaped room, but quite large. The only complaints we had at this property was the water, it does not have a great filteration system like the ones at Disney. You can taste the sulfer in even the sodas. Otherwise, great place.
