Reserving Your Room

Hi all

When is it best to fax the hotel (POR) for a room request ?, its our first time on site and my DDs are 8, 5, and 3 were staying for 3 weeks and sleeping is now becoming a problem lol I do hope the beds r comfy

Wow, 3 weeks! That's wonderful!

I thought I'd read either here or at mouseavers or somewhere that faxed room requests were no longer being taken? I would think with such a long stay they would make an exception in your case.

The room controller from what I understand assigns the rooms 4 days before your check-in date but from what CMBoy99344 just wrote in a thread I read this morning, Don't even bother faxing requests unless the hotel has concierge because they don't pay any mind to faxed requests otherwise. From what he wrote, he said your best bet is to let CRO know of your requests when you make your ressie or to ask when you are at check-in.

I would suggest about 2-3 days before you arrival. The fax request vary from resort to resort. I have had sporadic luck with request at POR so make sure it is noted on your room resv and then ask again at c/i.
