Correct, you must have park admission linked to MDE in order to make advance FP+ selections. If you also have a Disney Resort Reservation (including Swan/Dolphin) linked to MDE, your advance FP+ booking window opens at 60 days from check-in. Without a Disney Resort Reservation, you can book FP+ selections up to 30 days from the day you want to use the particular FP+ selections.
