I have a question about ADRs and number of people in your party.

What happens if you book an ADR for 4 people and you really only need it for 2? Can you book it like that? Are you charged for the other 2 people who really don't exist?

I haven't done this but some of the ADRs I'd like to have are for more people than would actually be there.

Just curious............

Yes, you can make it for 4. As long as at least one person shows up for the reservation you will not be charged for the "missing" 2 people.

I've done all of our ADR's for a party of 3, even though we aren't sure if my mom is going to be able to join us or not. Figured better to be safe than sorry, because HOPEFULLY she will be there!!

Some of our res are for three because my sister has been very sick so she may go at the last minute?

That's good to know.
