Reserving Fastpass+

When my family vacations at WDW, we stay on site but my sister and her family stay offsite at their timeshare. Once the Fastpass+ system is implemented, will I be able to reserve Fastpasses for all of us or just my family? Or, will I be able to add her family as friends in MDE and reverse Fastpasses for all of us? We enjoy touring the parks together so we need to get Fastpasses for the same time windows.

I've read that the Fastpass+ is somehow linked to tickets. I assume I would need to provide a ticket number for each member of my family and my sister's family.

You will need to enter everyone's ticket number into their profile and then link them so you will be able to pull FPs for everyone.

How do I link tickets numbers in? We paid for a package through a TA.

You'll travel agent should be able to provide them to you, or do it for you.

Although I'm sort of suprised that you can link non-disney guests to yours?? I suppose we'll know more when it's rolled out.

Given that no one has been able to do any of it yet, it's tough to say exactly what you will and won't be able to do, and how you'll be able to do it.

Given problems with people just getting the app to link and consistently show members of their own family, I predict even more problems doing it on a case-by-case basis...

We have a party of 13. I have them all added on the My disney experience app. Total of 3 rooms are booked, and then 3 of the family will stay at home and use CM entrance + guess passes. I hope I will be able to do fastpasses for them too!

Right now the entire MagicBand, FastPass Plus, RFID Chips, and everything else related to NextGen is in a state of flux and nobody will be able to give a definite answer to anything related to them until at least a few months after everything is rolled out.

That situation HAS already happened in the past.

It was unpleasant.

There were no actual FP+ available,
but the app did (appear to) allow the guests to reserve them.

As I recall, you can still hunt for them (and find some) in various menus.

Are you sure that the friend hasn't purchased Photo Pass+ (PP+) and not FP+?

If I recall correctly, a while back during a testing period, some people who were not involved in the test were able to make selections. When these people showed at MK, a CM gave them some 'magic' FPs.
