Reserving a Disney golf cart for one day?

1) Yes, you can reserve for one day.
2) It might seem expensive.
3) However, if you really want to see the whole campground, do it.
4) Call 1-407-824-2742.

Sure. One day is the minimum (Disney doesn't do hourly rental) and it about $65 ($59 per day plus tax) as long as they have availability. They do run out of carts at busy times (holiday times, etc).

It'll be worth renting a buggy for the day, :thumbsup2
It'll be a blast.
( just my opinion)

Yes we do it every time we go if we don't stay at the Fort. Especially a good value to see Christmas decorations. You can see every loop rather than just see stuff from the road on a sleigh ride or wagon.

Alternative would be to rent bikes at the Bike Barn if everyone in your party is able and willing, then use the $$$ you saved to rent a canoe and paddle around and still have some snack money left over. That's how DH and I explored the Fort while staying elswhere. Be warned, though, once you check it out you might just become one of us Fort lovers! :thumbsup2

I don't think bikes are good at night, though. Plus if you have more than 2 people for a full day, the cost of bikes is higher than the golf cart. I know the lat time we looked, bikes were $28 a day, so for 4 of us, it was almost $120.

$28 a day for a bike? Ouch!! Yeah, go for the cart.

I know! We considered going to Wal-Mart and buying bikes for a 2 week stay. We asked on here (couple of years ago) if folks would be willing to be on a bike share and just pass them along, but it became too difficult when people brought up the storage issues, rusting possibility, etc. because there would not be a good place to leave them for the next person. But you can buy bikes for kids for $49 and adults for under $100, assembled. Cheaper than renting but not easy to dispose of LOL.

I already have mine reserved for 11/30!!! We decided to go ahead and spend a day at the Fort since 11/30 is still Thanksgiving weekend and will be crazy busy in the parks. We are so looking forward to it. I find it amusing though that my kids first choice for their first day in Disney was to rent a golf cart and go fishing HAHA.......keep in mind we OWN a golf cart and live on the Eastern shore.....have a home in a beach community where the beach is a 1 minute golf cart ride from fising :rotfl2:

KIDS!!!! haha...but this is what they wanted so what they are getting. Can't wait will be fun and the one time I went to Disney as a kid, we camped at Fort Wilderness so will bring back some wonderful memories as well.

We decided on the golf cart in lieu of the wagon ride so that we could explore all day and do what we wanted and go where we wanted.

Good choice! You may be hooked after your visit LOL. We're checking in that day so maybe we'll see you as you ride around!

I tried to get my kids to do the cabins for our December trip but they were having none of it. They wanted WL again for our 2nd trip. I am taking my mom next year and thinking of doing POFQ but could surprise her and do the cabins. Not sure....cabins might be good with a weekly golf cart rental for limited walking. But will see. She always did the camping think so thinking I might want her to experience something else. And it is a surprise so can't talk to her about it!!

I will waive if I see you HAHA.

Thanks for all your replies.
I rented for 12/11.
The price is $59 plus tax.

I am so excited to see the decorations of the campers and go to the Chip and Dale camp fire.
