Reserving 8/12-8/15 - How does free dining work?

We might consider a trip that would start 1-2 days before free dining is offered, through two of the days it is offered. How would this work? Would we not get it for the first day or two and then get it or would we be granfathered in and get it for our entire stay???? THANKS!

I don't think you would get the free dining at all. It is by your check in date. If you can change your trip to start on the 13th you would get it.
