I am going with my parents and my 2 boys in January. I am going to get 2 rooms at ASSp, if possible. Just wondered if they had adjoining rooms in all sections. I really want the football section, but we need adjoining rooms. What are the chances of getting adjoining rooms?? We will be checking in the day after MLK.

Also, if I reserve 2 rooms, do I need a $400 deposit, or is it still $200 since it is the same reservation. Not sure how that works.

Adjoining rooms are side by side. Connecting rooms have a door in between. If you want a door in between your room and your parents room you must be specific with Disney reservations in requesting a connecting room. If you request adjoining you will have a room beside or near them.

We are a family of 6, so we always get two connecting rooms at a Value resort. They always note it on our reservation and we have ALWAYS been given connecting rooms. If you were traveling in peak season there could be a miniscule chance you might not get the connecting room, but since you are traveling in a slower season, I wouldn't even factor in that slight chance. I have always only put down a $200.00 deposit. As long as the rooms are booked together under the same reservation they should only ask you for a $200.00 deposit. Hope this info helps.

Thanks!! I am glad to know I have to request connecting rooms, I would have said adjoining and then been mad when I didn't get it

We are doing the dining plan, will we all be linked to one card, or will each room be separate?

If you are booking you and your kids in one room and your parents in the other room, then you and your kids dining credits will be linked to your room and your parents dining credits will be linked to their room.

Apparently, if there are 3 adults you cannot book 2 rooms under 1 reservation. They said I would need to make 2 reservations, so I will need $400 for a deposit. What are the chances I will get connecting rooms??

We traveled with my parents a couple of year ago to WDW and I only paid one $200.00 deposit when I booked it. That was a couple of years ago though and I guess policies can change?. Every other time we have gotten two rooms it is my husband and I and our four children. As I said, we have always gotten the connecting rooms, even when my parents traveled with us. There's always the off chance that the resort would'nt be able to grant your request, but since you're traveling at a slower time of the year, I would think your chances are pretty good.
