Can anyone tell me if this is worth the extra $$$?

We've never felt the need to use it. We usually get there early and are close enough to gate to walk in without using a tram. Tram picks up and gets you to gate from all areas of the parking lot so doesn't involve walking far. Possibly if you are bringing stollers or wheel chair etc. it might be easier on ya'll to to park in
reserve parking.

If you mean perferred parking, it does get you closer to the gate. The first few parking spaces are a stone's throw from the entrance. For best perferring parking spaces, you have to arrive early. Even if you arrive early and do regular parking, you are generally a few rows away from preferring parking anyway.
