Reserved Fantasmic Seating

We are going to splurge on our upcoming trip and do the reserved riverside seating for Fantasmic. I can't remember how many days ahead of time you can make your reservations. Is it the same for Goofy's kitchen.

Also, we are staying at the DLH. Is it best to have Vacation planning make our reservations, or should I call them myself? It has been more than 5 years since we stayed on property. I can't remember where to find the number for VP.

My reply doesn't answer your question but I did want to offer this bit of advice...
On the day of your reservation, you "check-in" at the reserved seating location then come back closer to show time. CHECK IN EARLY. The seating assignment is based on first order of check-in.
I too splurged for myself, one of my kids, my sister and her three kids a few years back. After spending over $300, I was not impressed that we were seated IN THE THIRD ROW. So I say again, CHECK-IN EARLY.

I think it is 30 days in advance. I called about 2 weeks ago and there was still tickets for this upcoming week.

Priority Seating dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance by calling 714-781-DINE (3463).

Fantasmic VIP Seating can be reserved 30 days in advance (these must be paid for at time of purchase).

If you are staying at a Disneyland property, both PS reservations and Fantasmic VIP Seating can be taken care of by Vacation Planning (714) 300-PLAN (7526). They can also help you set up any special occasion gifts, etc.

Definitely get Vacation Planning to look after this for you! We booked our last trip through DL Travel and stayed at PP and wow, Vacation Planning was wonderful and got us (at the time) balcony seating (front row for 8) for Fantasmic, they also made all of our other reservations. Wonderful service and will be getting them to make reservations again for our upcoming trip.
