Reserve an extra day for early morning arrival-question

I am not really sure which forum I should post this question but since it pertains to resorts I will try this one.

Our arrival for our next trip will be on Wednesday, Sept 7th, around 7:00 a.m. (if all goes according to plan). If I reserve our room starting on Tuesday, Sept 6th and do online check-in, will we lose our room as a no-show if we do not arrive by evening, Sept 6th?

Hard to explain but I hope I made enough sense that someone can answer my question.

You shouldn't, but it wouldn't hurt to have MS note that you will be arriving early the next morning on the reservation.

I have not done it, but did ask Member Services about it. I was told to mention it and it would be noted and there would not be a problem.

We did exactly this, I was soooo glad that I did. Just call the resort and MS to let them know that you will be arriving early the following day. Nothing like having a room already to go when you check in after a red-eye flight.
