Reservations

we will be going to disney the end of September, we will have 15 people in our group. I am wondering if it is possible to make meal reservations for a group that large. Two tables or even 3 would be fine so long as they are next to each other. We will only have a few that would matter like ariel's grotto for a bday and thunder ranch bbq and goofy's kitchen. The rest of the meals it's ok if we aren't together.

We seen large groups your size all at one table in Goofy's kitchen.
I haven't been to BigThunder BBQ so I have no input there.
We've been to Ariel's two times, it isn't a favorite of ours.

Yes, it's possible to book a reservation for a large group, though you won't be able to do it online. You'll have to call Disney Dining to book it. We did a group of 19 for Goofy's for dinner and also for Storyteller's for Mother's Day brunch last yr. we did call right at the 60d mark, to make sure they could accommodate our group.

I booked for a large group in December; you'll see that restaurants will vary in the group size you can book on-line. Some are only 10 and some are more. I called to book a larger group--we had 17.

Thank you for your replies. I'm not sure I would have thought to call if we maxed out the online option.

They'll do their best to seat you at adjoining tables at Big Thunder BBQ. I went with a large group (12, but two were small children) and we did squish into one of the large tables - five to a side with the kids on the ends! I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you like being really close to each other, but they will seat large groups together to the best of their ability. Big Thunder BBQ will let you make reservations online for groups of 15.

We had a group of 14 at BTR BBQ and were seated at 2 tables next to each other. We called to reserve. Called to reserve at Goofy's Kitchen, too, but were seated at one long table. Good idea to call with a big group.
Seating and tables all worked fine for us!
