Reservations With Voucher for Parks

Disney just allowed me to repurchase my Annual since I canceled it due to Covid19. I now have a voucher and can make a park reservation. My question is, my voucher/pass doesn't get activated by making that reservation does it? It still get activated at the turnstile, correct? I am asking because I am not 100% sure if I will drive up that day. I know I want to go during that particular week but just hard to narrow the day. If I had to canceled and reschedule the day, I wouldn't want my pass activated and me not going

Making a park reservation does not activate your annual pass. Technically you don't even have one until you redeem the voucher at Guest Relations or a ticket booth. Having the voucher merely allows you to make park reservations.
