Reservations? We don't need no stinking reservations, we do it TODD'S way! COMPLETE

Thanks for taking the time to share so many fun moments of your trip. It really means a lot to those of us who are stuck at home in the real world! :headache::sad1:

I heard that WDW is 98-99 today....OMG I cannot imagine. Todd said if he was there he would stay in the room or the pool the entire trip!

Dan and I just agreed waterparks and pool by day, theme parks by night. I cannot do 98-99 during the day and stay sane and alive!

Now that I am finished with this I can finally go back to yours, Kathy's and Tina's threads and start harrassing you guys again :rotfl:

Oh, you mean you remembered that WE have THREADS? :rotfl2:

My top ten places are and in no order (and I will not speak for my DH)

1. Citricos
2. Cali Grill
3. The Wave
4. Flying Fish
5. Yachtsman
6. Il Mulino
7. Kona - for breakfast or lunch
8. Cape May - for breakfast or lunch
9. Via Napoli
10. Yachtsman

Great top ten list. We're trying to hit four of them this trip... Was Cape May for dinner not that great? If you had to choose between there or say...Via Napoli for dinner, which would you do?

Also, I have a question for you about Via Napoli's pizza. How crisp was the crust when you went? I thought it was pretty soggy when we went, which I thought was odd since its cooked in a wood-fired brick oven. :confused3 As you can tell, I so want to love this place, but we just didn't in February.

We are just your average goofballs...you should have seen us at Best Buy last night buying a new computer! We must have been a sight!

I cant wait either! I dont like the Mickey Bars...they are just Dove bars and I can get them at the grocery store...if I want a snack I want something I cannot get just anywhere.

Did you get a new computer? And that's a true observation about Mickey Bars...I'm with you..when I'm at Disney, I want some stuff I can't get anywhere else.

Oh man, I can't believe it's over already. I love reading your reports and following the "Todd's magical ADR adventures". I think all DISers should take up a collection to put you on as a permenant food reporter. Great job as always. Now I'll have to wait until October for the next chapter.

Okay... how I missed this review is a mystery and the fact that you are done sharing is just amazinig... That means your trip was just way too short and you need to go again :lmao: Thanks for sharing.... Sounds like you had fun but I could never give up control like that. It might push me over to the deep end.

Read through your thread over the last few days and loved every post. You are too funny!

I just stumbled across your dining review and am hooked!!! I had to go back and read some of your previous ones! Thanks so much for taking the time to share all of this, it makes me even more excited for my next trip to WDW when I see all the food I have to look forward to!

I LOVE, LOVE Boatwrights. I know it is always vilified on the Dis, but I've never had a bad meal there! Sounds like your husband is one lucky guy when it comes to walk ups! lol He must be a charmer! :thumbsup2

We haven't even looked at dates for 2012 yet. Mark about fell over when I told him that in 2013 to plan on taking three weeks off because I want to do the cruise, Disney World and Nicki Land.

When we are together in September, we'll discuss 2012 dates (I just know that I can't get the condo the weekend around Halloween because the owner always goes at that time).

I think our 2012 dates are going to Oct 18-28.

Oh fine! If you are considering going on the cruise around Halloween that definitely leaves US out! :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:
And you promised that we ALL go on this cruise together! :sad2:

Just kidding! :rotfl2:

NEVER would we do that! If we go on a cruise, if I can drug my husband into it  we are so going together!

I said Halloween because Nic wants to go to F&W which would mean October; not even sure if Mark could get off three weeks in October because of his trade show schedule (it would be tough enough in September)

F&W is a must and you really need longer than a weekend to do it.

I am just kidding, Kathy! ;)
But promise me, whenever you go, to let me help planning! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to do that! :goodvibes

YES! Let Karin do it all for you! When the time comes that we are all going on a cruise together I am leaving it all in Karin's capable hands because she is a total pro at the WDW cruising!

You should try almond milk. I don't think Starbucks uses it, but at home it's great for cocoa and stuff. I like the Blue Diamond original unsweetened stuff. It tastes more like cow's milk to me, and is kind of creamier, and doesn't have that soy aftertaste.

Oh no, I cannot stand almond. I did buy Silk (regular and unsweetened) and Lactaid and it is good to cook with and eat cereal and Todd loves it because Silk smells and tastes like cake batter :lmao: I cannot drink it straight though.

You are welcome, thanks for reading along! Now I am stuck at home in the real world :lmao:

Just miserable if you ask me!

Thank you! Cape May dinner is awesome and we never had a bad meal there but we wanted to skip it this time and not go to any buffets. I think we are going to cancel the breakfast there too. Plus the price is high and we have a local place that does all you can eat crab legs, mussels, clams etc for $14 a person...

It wasnt soggy thats for sure, it had a nice bite/chew to it and was served very hot and fresh. We didnt like it at all in Feb either so maybe things were off then?

Did you get a new computer? And that's a true observation about Mickey Bars...I'm with you..when I'm at Disney, I want some stuff I can't get anywhere else.

Yes we did...ours died on us and then the hot water heater needed replacing, Todd had to get 2 new tires (at $500 a pop that is a killer) and I needed new brakes. On top off all that we decided to re-do our den and we got rid of some furniture in there and I am shopping for a new desk and such. Its always something at our house!

Me either! I want to go back right now! I woudl love to be a WDW permanent resident and do reviews for a living!

As long as you found me thats good! You didnt miss a thing! It was 7 days but we didnt snack or eat that much so the reviews are shorter :rotfl2:

Why thank you so much! ;)

I am so glad you enjoyed them! That is the same thing I think about when reading others reviews and drooling over their pictures

Oh us too...it was a fantastic and we cannot wait to go back there again. DH is a charmer...thats how he caught me ;)

I've finally finished reading your wonderful reviews :goodvibes

Looks like you had a wonderful trip and some yummy food

We were out there at the same time and yep, it was certainly hot. I hope we get good weather in October for our first ever food and wine festival

Thanks for taking the time to post these reviews, you are a wonderful writer :goodvibes

Thank you for the detailed review. Quick question. When we called for an unrelated question, the WDW operator said that restaurants were super booked and hard to get into this last week and people were upset with no table service options. Did you have trouble? Do you think she was exaggerating? I am super nervous now!

Thanks Linda! I am hooked on your reviews as well! What are your dates in Oct...maybe we will be there the same time again!

We were there the week before Memorial Day weekend so it wasnt busy at all...the parks were slow, most everything was a walk on and our resort was very quiet. We didnt have trouble at all just walking into things but we did get turned down at Tonys the first time we checked and later we were able to sneak in, we were shut down at Teppan Edo and had to wait 20 minutes at 50's PT.

I will say that in all of these TS places they had many empty seats available and we never saw a line of people waiting to be seated.....

I have read many reviews from people that just got back, the week after we weret here, and they are reporting how crowded it was...glad we went a week earlier

As discussed on the phone last night, October 2012 could be quite doable. However, are we doing it OUR way or Todd's way? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Girls rule, boys drool....what do you think? :lmao:

That's my girl. :thumbsup2 I told Mark the same thing...you don't like what we do, you and Todd are two peas in a pod -- go and do it yourself!:laughing:

Thanks Linda! I am hooked on your reviews as well! What are your dates in Oct...maybe we will be there the same time again!

We will be there from the 7th - 14th of October, we are so excited about going to our first ever Food & Wine Festival :cool1:

Ahhh Nicki, I don't know how I missed this and found it so late!

Enjoyable read as always by the Dining Reviewer Extraordinaire! :worship:

I love the Red Grape Sensation too! It was so good that I came home and hunted down the specific vodka they use for it and played around with the proportions and can pretty much perfectly replicate the drink at home now. :thumbsup2

You'll have to tell Todd his fly by the seat of his pickle loving pants plan won't work for October! I intend to have a re-do of our meet up....so he will have to show up somewhere at a certain time! :lmao:

I've enjoyed following along on this trip with you and have gone back and started to read some of your earlier trips. My husband is such a picky eater the only way I will see the inside of some of these restaurant is on peoples reports :sad2:

But the real question is - where does Todd say the best eggrolls in Disney can be found??
