Reservations in the park before rope drop

If we have a breakfast reservation at Tusker house for 8:40 and the park opens at 9:00, what time will they let us into the park?

Is there at special entrance at AK and MK for early breakfasts?

Also, I switched from a 9:15 breakfast at Tusker to the 8:40. Now I'm thinking we should have kept 9:15.

Yes, there will be a marked entrance for pre-opening ADRs. Either reservation is eating into magical low-wait park time, but I would definitely go with the earliest time you could get...or the latest (closer to 11).
