Hello, we are going to WDW in February and wondered if it was necessary to book reservations for some of the character restaurants like Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's? Is it that busy? Also, we would like to go to some higher end restaurants - is it necessary there too?

Well, when in February are you going? Depending on the dates, it can be very busy. The entire month will be fairly busy due to the Superbowl, President's holiday, Mardi Gras and ESPN weekend.

As a rule of thumb, even if you are traveling in a slower time of year, you still want to make dining reservations (ADRs) in advance. Especially, if you are wanting to eat at any character meals or any of the other popular restaurants. If you are wanting to eat at Chef Mickey's or LeCellier I would suggust making your ADRs the day your reservation window opens up.
