Howdy~
Couple quick questions:

How far out to make reservations?

And does this mean I have to call consecutive days for a week long trip, in order to make reservations for every night?

And do I call or is it online? Phone number is...?

Thanks and cheers!

180 days
you will get up to 10 more days when staying on site, meaning at 180 you will be able to schedule for your whole stay up to 10 days. Off site? yes, you will need to book everyday
Online opens a hour earlier than phone lines

The big reservations, like any of the pre-park open meals, the character meals, and Be Our Guest, should be booked right as soon as your reservation window opens.

If you are staying on-site, your entire stay, up to 10 days, will be bookable from 180 days before the first day of your trip. It opens at 6:00 am eastern time online, and 7:00 am on the phone. You can book onlike at https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/ or call them at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463)

If you are staying off-site, then you can only book up to 180 days out, with no extra time added to the end.

Perfect. Thank you.

I always suggest that you book your restaurants as early as your window allows. Book the ones that you "may" want as well, and release them when you firm up your plans.

I know my family likes one PPO breakfast in a park, but I am not always sure which park we want at 180 days out, so I book one in Epcot and MK. I seldom do in AKL anymore, but may next trip because two of our group will want to spend significant time there. I also may book one TS meal that is timed with fireworks. Once I have our plans in place I get rid of any extra ADR's. They are much easier to release after the fact than they are to secure later in your planning.

Thank you. Newbie question what is PPO and TS - I looked them up on the abbrevation list, but did not find. Blush, blush - thanks, again for the good info.

Sorry about that!

PPO- Prepark Opening are breakfasts in the park that allow you enter early.WE like BOG in MK for a quick service meal Crystal Palace just because it's Pooh! and Akershus in Epcot. For us, the benefit is that not only do we have a nice breakfast, but we are inside the park.

TS- Table service meal or restaurant. In Disney there are CS or QS restaurants: Counter or Quick service, and Table Service restaurants.
