Reservations for next April??

I'm just playing around on disneyworld.com trying to look pricing, etc for April of next year, and it wont let me, it says you can't do anything beyond 12/31 - why? I made my reservations for this december back LAST december (a whole year+ in advance), why can't I do it now? I made my reservations for this December through AAA, is that the reason? Can I call Disney to see about this next April?

Rates are typically released for a calendar year. When you booked last December for this December, rates for 2008 had been out for months. Rates for 2009 have not been released yet (at least not as far as I have seen). If you are booking room-only, you can call WDW and book a room and pay your deposit based on this year's rates, but the rate you ultimately pay will be whatever they release for next year (i.e. you might make a one-night deposit of $150 based on this year's rate, but you will likely owe more deposit when next year's rates are released). Package rates are released after room-only rates, so if you are trying to book a package, you have a bit longer of a wait.

Last year, room and package rates for this year were released on August 5. For the previous three years, room-only rates came out in May and package rates in June-August.
