Reservations at Finnegans during HHN

Is it true that Finnegans does NOT take reservations on Stay & Scream nights? I was told it is walk in only?

Don't know if they do or not, but you won't need them. We eat there every HHN, both peak and non-peak nights, and have never had to wait for a table.

Yeah, I always go into Finnegan's around 4:45-5:00 and there is never an issue getting a table or a couple seats at the bar -- even on peak nights. If you're overly concerned, or if you have a massive party, aim to get there closer to 4:40ish -- if only to make sure that you can eat and not feel rushed to get done and out by 6:00.

Yup and make sure you're ready to go when the S & S area is released into the park.

Good advice! We were smart last year when we went (our first time). We arrived around an hour before they were kicking people out and scored the two comfy chairs by the entrance to the bar area. I do believe they are officially Canadian Pooh's chairs but since she wasn't there I felt safe.

We made our way out towards the Blues Brothers area (restaurant entrance) about 30 minutes before the official "release". They ended up dropping the rope about 15 minutes early and we were some of the first through Wolfman. We covered 3 houses really quickly before the crowds started making an appearance.

And Dawnna - you definitely won't need reservations, especially if you're there early ... we enjoy going about 4:00-4:30 ish as it's a great place to relax in the cool, and rest your feet for the evening ahead.

It does get packed right at about 5:00 pm with everyone congregating in the restaurant but if you are there earlier, you should have no problem getting a table.

Same here, I went Opening Night and was one of the first through Wolfman as well. Really loved that house! Here's the 42 second vid of me walking with the crowd.
