We loved Ohana! The food was tasty and the servers were really great. We all left "stuffed" and I really don't overeat too often. We just loved most of what was served! My oldest DD who is a very picky eater ordered a double-decker grilled cheese and loved it!!! We ate breakfast there on our last day with no reservation--an no wait--on December 23... The food was good, again, but not as terrific as dinner IMHO.

We also like the Concourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary. The filet was delicious and the deserts were very kid friendly. My three kids spent so much time "painting" their sugar cookies that my husband and I had a normal conversation! They also serve a lovely Margharita!

We had 'Ohanas for breakfast and dinner during our trip earlier this month. The breakfast was great, if you're into the character interaction. Stitch and Pluto were really on their game while we were there.

Our dinner was a few evenings later, and I don't know that we'd spend the money again. We missed the old menu, and we weren't really impressed with their offerings. DD and DS, who are not picky eaters at all, wouldn't touch anything on the regular menu, and DH wasn't much better than that. The skewers of meat were very undercooked, and we just weren't big fans of much outside of the peel and eat shrimp. We left a lot of food on the table.

Our new favorite is Teppanyaki in Japan. This was a fabulous meal with great service and the funniest chef I've ever encountered in my life.

Thanks- anymore sugguestions would help! It is just my fiance and I but we are going down in November for our wedding too so more sugguestions would be great

My dh and I were down by ourselves last Feb for our 10yr anniversary and we went to Todd English's Blue Zoo in the Dolphin. We really enjoyed it. OUr food was wonderful and the atmosphere was nice. Our waiter was really on the ball, knew all of the specials from memory. Reminded me of a "used car" salesman (knew his game) that's in a good way. It was pricey, but we thought it was worth it. We had an early dinner and then we walked over to Epcot.

If it's just the two of you try Kona's instead. I love both places, but I think Ohana's is better for crowds.

If it were just me and hubby I think we'd do Kona, Rose and Crown, Plaza for lunch, Japan, Spoodles, and just gotta do ESPN for a beer and burger each trip.

My other half and myself did Ohana and loved it with just the two of us.

I like Ohana a lot, and while we like the food at Kona too, the atmosphere is so much better at Ohana. We also like Jiko and Narcossees.

At Ohana, if the meat is served to you "undercooked" (or overcooked!) just ask for more. In fact, if you know you have a preference for well-done or whatever, tell them as they start bringing the skewers to serve you and they will try to accommodate you by giving you that. They want you to be happy with your food, and they certainly don't want to serve you "undercooked" meat! How well done meat is cooked is definitely a personal preference. I have never thought the meat was undercooked, in fact, I often think it is overcooked. Please let them know what you want.

I will say the folks who bring the skewers around are often in a hurry, so you may have to "really get their attention" so they listen to what it is you are requesting.
