Reservations and no-shows??

We are going with another family and they just want to do what we do. So they will want me to make reservations for all of us together, 7 people. What will happen if they do not show up for the reservations(3 people). Will I be charged a credit for them?

only on those that require a deposit when you book them. not on any others though it would be nice if they did not do that.
