Reservation?

I have a reservation booked with a TA...I am expecting my Disney Visa in the next few days and my TA is on vacation. I sent an e-mail to my TA and asked, who I should contact if I get my Disney Visa while she is on vacation. I did not get a response. My questions are (finally questions)...can I change my reservation myself or does the TA own it? Should I try to change it or just rebook myself using the Visa (if there are rooms left) and then cancel with my TA? I hate to do this to my TA, she has been very good, but with the Visa offer, time is so important!

Since you booked through a travel agency I believe that only they can make the changes for you. This is why most people on these boards book via Disney or use either Dreams Unlimited (I believe from this site.... Disboards.com) or Small World Travel (from Mousesavers.com) since they specialize in Disney and can apply discount codes (like the Visa deal) when they come out.
You may have to cancel through the travel agency and re-book with the Visa deal either directly through Disney or one of the Disney specialist sites that I mentioned above.

My Visa is here! I knew that would happen, the first day my TA is on vacation. I e-mailed Small World Travel, how long would you wait for a response from them?
