I was wondering if you are aware that the Disneyland Resorts (such as the Grand Californian) are hotels and not Disney Vacation Club villas. Although DVC members may use their points to book, the point value is high. For the dates you want, a standard view room is 30-33 points per night Sun-Thurs and 48-53 points per night Fri-Sat. Or you can make a reservation yourself, just as you would any other hotel. Just thought I'd pass on this info to you.
