My daughter's birthday is May 21st. I would like to do a 1 week vacation including being there for May 21st. So it can start May 17, May 18 etc. I am looking for the most reasonable priced reservation. It would be my husband and I and my two 8 year old daughters. I do have a timeshare at Orange Lake in May but I would like to do a Disney Resort to take advantage of the Dining Plan. I hear it saves a lot of money in the parks. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I am new to this website so I dont understand the point system, just tell me in $$ what it would cost me for a week in May 21. Thanks.

Welcome to the DIS boards! I'm afraid it would be difficult to tell you how much it would cost because, although the points don't necessarily mean anything to you, different types of accommodations at different resorts all cost different amounts of points! So I can't help you figure out how much a week would cost you (assuming there was availability at all this close to your travel dates) until I know what you're looking for and where.

If you would like to share more information there is a possibility I could help. You can email me at tracyvp @ yahoo etc.

Basically Disney is all based on points and not on actual time at the parks. So what you are looking at is dependent on the accomadations you are looking for at the time. A studio is the least expansive and it goes up from there.
I have points at Saratogo Springs Resort there is availabilty only at a studio for the weekend starting on the 17th. Since the next weekend is Memorial day there is next to nothing available the next weeked. There is no one bedrooms for a full week.

It would take - 112 points If you would like me to book for you I would be willing to... I normally ask for $10 a point which would be $1120.

If you want me to book please let me know... I sent you a PM with the info I would need.

Hi,

I am brand new to these boards (just a few hours ago!) but the reason I joined is to hopefully find someone that can use my Reservation points by 8/31/09. I cancelled a trip to Disneyland in June and have 256 points I now need to use before 9/1. Are you looking for just a hotel room in the park, or for the Vacation Club resorts with kitchen etc? I may be able to help you if you are interested in a Disney World hotel. Availability can sometimes be a problem. Let me know what you are looking for and how much you are hoping to spend.

Sandy
