Reservation using Banked or Borrowed points (not COVID-19 related)

I'm sure I've seen this information, but can't locate it at present...

If I have points in my account from 3 different UYs (banked, current, and borrowed), I understand that when booking a reservation, it will look for banked points first, then borrowed, before associating current UY points to the reservation.

So here's my question... I have a reservation in October using UY20 points. After making that reservation, I have since banked some points. Will those banked points automatically be used first without taking any action or modifying the reservation in any way? Or do I have to intervene somehow to ensure the banked points get used first for that reservation?

Are the details about which points are being used for a reservation embedded somewhere in the dashboard information about that reservation? I'm not seeing it.

You have to modify the reservation in order to pick them up. It is not automatic. Once a room is reserved, it takes what is there at the time,

So, if you now have banked points, go in, modify, don’t change a thing, follow it all the way until the end and book, even if it doesn’t look like it is picking up the banked points. It will!

To see what exactly happened, you have to open and review your points activity statement. After you book, there is a points summary statement you can click on before you go back to your dashboard.

Thanks. That what I thought I'd read in the past. So, is there any way to actually see which points are being used for a given reservation? Or do we just have to take it on faith that it takes the points in the proper order?

When you make a new reservation, one of the last steps has a link that will show how points are taken. There is nothing on the dashboard that shows the status of each point that was used on a reservation.

I'm not sure if it will be accessible again after I leave the page, but when I modified my reservation, I noticed a link labeled "View Points Summary" under the heading "Vacation Points Required." Clicking on that brought up a pop-up that listed exactly what I was looking for. It showed precisely how many banked, how many borrowed, and how many current UY points were being applied for that reservation.

I took a screen shot of it for my records just in case you can only see that link when modifying.
