Reservation Trouble

I am planning a trip 9/21-9/25. My sister and I will be celebrating her 40th birthday. An old tradition we used to have (before you really had to take advantage of morning hours) was to go to River Bell Terrace first thing. I thought it would be fun to kick this trip off the same way since we are getting to the parks in the evening (she doesn't know we are coming down a day early!) I've been trying to book River Bell for Thursday night and even tried doing Fantasmic premium seating which would kind of be pretty cool but there is nothing available. I've been trying since Sunday 7/23 early am! I also can't book Alfresco Terrace for any time during our trip so far. Any thoughts, ideas or pixie dust is appreciated! Thanks all!

It's probably just not loaded into the system, yet. Disneyland is notorious for not having stuff available right at the 60-day mark. Give it a couple of days, it shouldn't be a problem. As for RBT Fantasmic! premium seating, I believe you need to call to reserve - it's not available online.

In another thread it was mentioned that River Belle Terrace is closing for refurb sometime early September. I don't know the exact dates yet, but that is another possible reason why you can't book it although Winnowill is correct about the dining system not always being ready at the 60-day mark.

Thanks Longtime, now that you mentioned it, i thought I saw something about that too. I will keep trying and will call probably everyday, since I'm kind of controlling and obsessive like that

I also heard RiverBell would be down sometime in September and Fantasmic is probably only showing on weekends then. You can't make reservations for Alfresco Terrace, it is not a table service place and has limited hours.

I know when I was planning my September trip (now rescheduled) I tried doing a Fantasmic River Belle Terrace reservation on 9/15 and was told the restaurant would be closed for refurbishment. The specific cast member I spoke to didn't know the end date, but it seemed like this was her first time hearing it (she had to put me on hold to ask someone). I'd call and see if they have a concrete end date for the refurb.

I tried to book Riverbelle for the Fantasmic dining package today for 9/23. It says no tables available so I booked Blue Bayou for the same night. I wonder if Riverbelle will still be closed. I will keep checking.

FWIW, playing around with the dining calendar I get no availability for River Belle starting 9/5. Looks like they aren't opening ADRs until they get more solid info on the refurb.
