Reservation Switch-itis

I'm planning our Christmas trip this year, we'll be at WDW from Dec 20 - 1 Jan and I have a bad case of Dining Reservation switchitis. I spend far too much time watching reviews on youtube and reminiscing about prior meals each day, now that we're in our window and I find myself re-arranging the dining constantly hah. I think I'm obsessed with planning our perfect flow of restaurants I want.

Anyone else find themselves unable to commit to their original selections?

We do this every trip. By the time the trip rolls around we've cancelled everything and then look day of for whats available. Wouldn't suggest that at the end of December, but it usually works out for us.

I did this last trip hah. Changed my mind day of and found something available, walk the current res way out and cancel.

Not really. I figure out what we, ok I want, and stick with it. I do come up with multiple back-ups which keeps me from booking some random place when our first choice isn't available.

1000 times THIS! I do exactly the same. I plan, I switch, I stalk. Perfect plans. Get there - all thrown out the window and we change on a dime. Best trips ever!

I don’t usually change restaurants on the fly, but I do find myself altering the time a lot, especially day of. Sometimes I move it up, for example, if we are getting tired and want to go back to the resort earlier, and sometimes I push it later, like last trip when we wanted more time in the park and had a resort reservation for dinner. Right now I am stalking the website to move a reservation an hour later for the next trip, but it’s not looking too hopeful (we are in MK and it’s a party night-we aren’t attending the party because family is driving home that night). I have a reservation at 4pm and would like 5pm, but if we have to stick with what we have, we will make it work.
